While Walt Disney World is one of the most magical experiences we all get to enjoy, for most, packing is not. Definitely not. Figuring out what to bring to Walt Disney World can be stressful…and Disney should not be about stress. You certainly don’t want to forget any of the packing essentials for a Disney Vacation. There are things you need to be prepared for, like the Florida weather. But, you don’t need to bring everything and the kitchen sink either. I created this Ultimate Disney Packing List a few years ago to help me get organized.
I am the world’s worst packer. Since the task of helping get the family ready for vacation usually falls on me, I needed to be better prepared. This Disney World Packing List should serve as a guide. You do not need to bring every single item on this list. There is a balance for knowing what to bring to the Disney Parks, and what not to. I suggest going through the list and highlighting the items you want to pack.

What to Pack for Disney – The Essentials
Here are some items that I definitely would not forget to pack for Disney.
Portable Battery Charger – I am sure you will be snapping a lot of Disney photo memories on your vacation. Keep your phone charged so you don’t miss any of the magic. I particularly LOVE this portable battery charger. It’s compact enough but has a lot of power.
Magic Bands – If you are staying on property, you will be sent Magic Bands for your traveling party. These Magic Bands are your keys to the kingdom. They unlock your room, secure your FastPass+ reservations, dining reservations and much more. Make sure you pack them. If you do happen to forget them, don’t worry because guest service can replace them.
USB Wall Charger – Some hotel rooms are short on outlets. This handy USB wall charger can charge multiple electronic devices at one time.
Backpack – I never leave for any Disney vacation without a backpack that I can carry throughout the parks. An in-park backpack not only stores all your essentials you may need throughout your Disney day, but also keeps you hands-free.
Sunscreen – The Florida sun is HOT. Protect yourself and your family and don’t forget to bring sunscreen.
Ponchos – Pop-up showers are pretty much a daily occurrence in Orlando. Stay dry and don’t forget to pack ponchos for your family. Ponchos are available in the parks but you will save a lot of money by buying them before you arrive. While you may opt to bring an umbrella, but I personally don’t like carrying around an umbrella so a Poncho is a no-brainer.
Stroller Cover – If you have kids in strollers, they need to stay dry too. While a poncho will keep you and your family dry, a stroller cover will keep your littles and stroller dry.
Extra Duffle Bag – It’s always a good idea to leave a little extra room in your suitcase or pack an extra duffle bag to get all those extra Disney items and souvenirs home.
Disney Spinner Suitcase – Pack more fun into your Disney vacation with a cool Disney-themed suitcase.
