For those of you who are all about tracking down every Disney character, you can think of on your Walt Disney World vacation, here is the Ultimate Disney character checklist for each Walt Disney World park. Use this list to fill your autograph book and really take advantage of Memory Maker, the photopass package. Print out a copy of the Disney Character list below to keep track of the Disney Characters that you (or your kids) have met.

CHaracters At The Magic Kingdom
In the Magic Kingdom, you don’t need to go too far to see your first character. Two of Disney’s most iconic characters are right in Town Square at the Town Square Theater. This place is to your right as you cross under the track of the WDW RR. The largest assortment of Characters are found in Fantasyland, but Adventureland and Tomorrowland have some character encounter as well.

Character Dining at Magic Kingdom
Besides all the places in the Magic Kingdom where you can meet your favorite Disney characters while you play, there are select restaurants where characters come to you while you eat. You can save time by meeting more characters in the same place and even see some you won’t find anywhere else. Dining reservations are required for these character dining experiences so make sure you book well in advance.

Characters At Epcot
Epcot holds a lot of Disney characters to discover in its two hemispheres. The World Showcase offers character meet and greets in many of the pavilions. From the United Kingdom to China, Disney princesses and other characters with origins in these countries can be found there, in distinct photo locations and immaculately themed environments. In Future World the animated characters from Disney and Pixar films come to life on sets specifically for special photo moments. Some have been relocated or are scheduled to close soon due to the changes at Epcot.

Character Dining At Epcot
Epcot offers two unique dining experiences with characters, much like what you can do at the Magic Kingdom. Akershus is a castle-like environment with all-you-care-to-enjoy Norwegian American fare and several princesses to greet you at your table. In the Land Pavilion, Garden Grill provides spectacular food in an all-you-care-to-enjoy family-style service with some of your favorite Disney characters dressed as farmers.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios may be small, but it’s an outstanding place to meet characters. Especially if you are a Pixar or Star Wars fan, you will want to make time to visit this park for the many character encounters. Whether you want to meet some Disney Star Wars characters or you fancy Disney Junior, there are some key places to visit while you are at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom was not always the best place to meet anybody on your Disney character checklist. But now it’s the only place for certain classic Disney characters and a great opportunity to find some of your favorites in a whole new environment and wardrobe. The best places in Disney’s Animal Kingdom to meet characters are Discovery Island and Dinoland USA.

For instance, during Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, you can meet Jack Skellington and Sally along with a few others.
