Disney World has so many rides and attractions, it is completely impossible to do all of them in one visit. Although all of the rides are fun but some are just a little more exciting and fun than others. If you are a first-timer at Disney, you want your experience to be the greatest it can be, right? Well, today I am going to be sharing some of the most popular and can’t Miss Disney World Rides And Attractions For First-Timers.
Can’t Miss Disney World Rides And Attractions For First-Timers
Snow White Seven Dwarfs Mine Train:
This one can be found at Fantasyland in the Magic Kingdom but make sure you get there right when they open up because the wait time gets extremely extensive. It can get upwards of 3 hours but the wait is worth it. This is probably one of the most popular and fun rides at the park.
Dumbo Flying Elephants:
I feel like you can’t visit Disney World without riding the Dumbo Flying Elephants. This ride is a Disney classic and one you certainly want to ride if you are a first timer. You can also find this one in Fantasyland at the Magic Kingdom.
Space Mountain:
Space Mountain is a bit more of an adventurous ride for the daredevils in the family! Space Mountain is in an indoor roller coaster filled with speed and fun. It can be found at Tomorrowland at the Magic Kingdom.
Pirates of The Caribbean:
This one is and always will be a classic for me. If you are a big fan of the Pirates of The Caribbean franchise you don’t want to miss out on this one. It is also a great idea to take a break from walking around because you get to sit down the whole ride! Ha! You can find this in Adventureland in the Magic Kingdom.
The Haunted Mansion:
Another sit down ride and absolute MUST is the Haunted Mansion. It’s a bit spooky for little ones so be sure that if you do plan to take them on this ride that you prepare them thoroughly. The Haunted Mansion is located in Liberty Square at the Magic Kingdom.
Rock n Roller Coaster:
I always consider Hollywood Studios to be a bit more of a “grown up” park because they have rides that are a bit more intense. The Rock n Roller Coaster is a fast paced indoor roller coaster in which you get to cruise through town in a limo listening to the tunes of Aerosmith.
Hollywood Tower of Terror:
Here’s another scary one that’s probably not best suited for the little ones. Hollywood Tower of Terror takes you into the Twilight Zone in which you get into the elevator and fall quickly, it is pretty scary even for an adult so be sure that you’re a thrillseeker for this one! This one is also located at Hollywood Studios.
Kilimanjaro Safaris:
If you love the zoo, Kilimanjaro Safari is like a zoo on wheels. You get to take a trolley through the safari and see all sorts of wildlife and beautiful animals. This is not something you want to miss and what’s great is the wait time is never too long because several people go at one time. This is located in Africa at Animal Kingdom.
Avatar Flight of Passage:
I think the Avatar attraction is one of the most interesting things you can do at the Disney parks. I loved the Avatar movie and it is so cool to get to fly through The World of Avatar on this attraction. You can find this at Pandora – The World of Avatar at the Animal Kingdom.
Slinky Dog Dash:
Slinky Dog Dash is one of my favorite rides in Disney World. Take off on a family-friendly coaster that twists and turns past giant toys and springs across Andy’s oversized backyard!
Spaceship Earth:
Finally, you absolutely cannot take a trip to Epcot without going on Spaceship Earth. You know, the huge silver ball that is iconic to Epcot? A lot of people are unaware that this is actually an attraction. There is so much to do inside Spaceship Earth and is certainly a can’t miss experience.
